Loki Season 2 Review

The second season of Loki begins right from the ending scenes of the first season. Sylvie has killed ‘He Who Remains’ and the sacred timeline is branching. The team needs to step in and prevent further damage and oversee TVA. But all of a sudden Loki has a new condition which forms the pivotal part of the show. Loki is not holding back any minute as a new character is introduced who is the tech guy for the whole season. We are introduced to advanced level of physics which needs some time to comprehend. But as we like to say, Physics is fun as the conversations are happening between an expert and laymen. They have laced these conversations with ample humour and the human emotions. This will keep the audience see the very human side of characters who are involved in solving a complex issue.

The multiverse and TVA are so complex but more than that the human emotions are even trickier to understand. Each characters have reasons and an ulterior motive. The emotional core of characters is developed very practically and their actions are unpredictable for the audience. This is the best part as the characters are written stronger and are built airtight. One can keep each character aside and can draw out different stories out of them. Each episode are shot pretty non linear with respect to narration. The events are connected very skilfully which shifts between various timelines and even the time. The events from the past, present and future are carefully considered while building a scene. The storyline follows the thriller genre that is built on dramatic scenes. This helps the makers to create worthy emotional scenes and the performances stick to the heart. Coming in to the 2nd season, they have possibly explored the characters even more deeper. The final episode gives more thrill, more tech savvy but more than that it was more humane.

The series raises the bar higher with respect to the technical side. The visuals and the color pattern were accurate and stunning especially while showcasing the timeline branches much closer this time. The background score builds the tension and deserves a standing ovation. Loki Season 2 is a worthy sequel which is equally fun and emotional where the characters gets even better writing and the multiverse has the scope to expand for the good. Must Watch..!!
