Leo 4 Days Domestic Business : Excellent Trend!

Leo does the unthinkable at the domestic boxoffice. The 4 days extended weekend proved to be very fruitful as the film notched up INR 210 Crore from the domestic market. Leo has been performing really good across India compared to the previous releases of Thalapathy Vijay. The movie has set new records in many markets during its 4-day extended weekend run.

In the home state, the movie has raked up INR 106 Crore from just 4 days which is a record for any movie in TamilNadu. Thalapathy Vijay starrer has already earned a record INR 35 Crore on Day 1 without any early morning shows and continued its terrific form in the following days. This has further helped the case to aim for INR 200 Crore plus finish in TamilNadu.

In the state of Kerala, the movie is performing astonishingly well. The movie has so far earned around INR 32.85 Crore which is a record for any movie in Kerala. The movie created an all-time recorded by miles in Kerala registering INR 12 Crore where no movie has even breached INR 8 Crore. The movie has every possibility to enter the INR 50 Crore club after the final theatrical run.

In Karnataka too, the movie created an opening day record and continued its brilliant run to amass INR 28 Crore in 4 days. This is also a record for a Vijay movie in the state. However, the movie didn’t perform to its full potential in the Telugu states. This is due to the fact that the movie had to clash with Bhagwant Kesari & Tiger Nageswara Rao. Despite the clash, the movie was able to earn INR 28.25 Crore inside 4 days trending better than the Telugu releases.
