‘Thalapathy Vijay’ starrer ‘The Greatest of All Time’ goes past INR 275 Crore in the opening weekend globally..!!!!
The Greatest of All Time is causing absolute mayhem at the global box-office. The film has rolled past ₹275 Cr globally in the opening weekend. Thalapathy Vijay has got the best out of every major market during the weekend and is in no mood of slowing down in the weekdays either.
Domestic Circuits
The film is exceptional in Tamil Nadu, where the opening weekend gross is on par with that of Leo, which means The GOAT has the second best opening in the state.
Apart from Tamil Nadu, the film has done good business in Karnataka where the tracked collections were reported well above ₹17 Cr and sold over 5 Lakh tickets in Bangalore. Both the Telugu states and Kerala have reported undermining figures for the film. The Telugu states recorded around ₹8 Cr from tracked collections while Kerala witnessed over 5 Lakh admits and roughly ₹9 Cr tracked gross in 4 Days. Only Trivandrum & Ernakulam centers have played above 1,000 shows and done a business above ₹1.50 Cr. The GOAT has earned around ₹11.21 Cr Nett over the weekend in North India including all versions and is already the third highest grosser for Thalapathy Vijay behind Leo & Varisu in the area.

International Circuits
In the overseas market, Thalapathy Vijay starrer has accumulated over $14M over the 4-Day weekend. The film has eclipsed Leo to become the All-Time highest grosser for a Tamil film in Canada with a total collection of $1.22M while USA reported close to $2.34M over the 4-Day weekend.
The GOAT registered the sixth best opening weekend for a Tamil movie in New Zealand by grossing around NZ$112K and took the fourth best opening weekend for a Tamil movie in Australia. The top 5 are as follows:

In the UK Box-Office, The GOAT has opened at second position for a Tamil movie behind Leo but moved ahead in France by selling over 30K tickets to become the All-Time record opening weekend for a Tamil film. The top 5 in UK are as follows:

- Ponniyin Selvan 1 – £795K (3D)
- Jailer – £728K
- Varisu – £669K
In the Asian markets, the film collected $1.82M, $355K and $876K from UAE, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf nations respectively and recorded the fourth best opening weekend for a Tamil film in GCC region. The top 5 are as follows:
- Leo – $5.58M (4D)
- Jailer – $4.28M (4D)
- 2.0 – $3.20M (4D)
- The GOAT – $3.05M (4D)
- Vikram – $2.62M (3D)
In Saudi Arabia, the film has already surpassed 30K admissions in 4 days and is currently behind Jailer & Leo. The film registered second best weekend for an Indian film in Singapore behind Leo and is currently the tenth highest Tamil movie in the region. The GOAT collected S$1.48M over 4 Days:

Like Canada, Sri Lanka proves to be the fort of actor Thalapathy Vijay. The film went past Leo to register the All-Time record opening weekend for a Tamil film in the market by grossing around LKR 16 Cr. The rest of the world territories contributed around $180K.
