‘Thalapathy Vijay’ starrer ‘The Greatest of All Time’ goes past INR 150 Crore in 2 Days globally..!!!!
After a sensational Day 1, The Greatest of All Time sways past ₹150 Cr globally in 2 Days. The film is performing extremely well in the home state and a few overseas territories.
In Tamil Nadu, the film has grossed ₹21 Cr on Friday, holding around 70% from Day 1. Around 10 Lakh tickets were sold for Day 2 from 3500 shows in the state. Both Karnataka & Kerala witnessed huge drop on Friday where the former reported ₹2.50 Cr. The tracked gross in Kerala was ₹1.27 Cr from 1,337 shows, seeing above 70% drop from Friday. The final reported gross in Kerala was ₹1.60 Cr. The Telugu states also recorded ₹1.60 Cr gross on Friday while the film grossed ₹2.30 Cr from North India.
In the overseas market, Thalapathy Vijay starrer added another $2.90M on Friday, taking the total tally to $8.52M in 2 days. In the North American Box-Office, the film earned $638K on Day 2. US & Canada recorded $438K & $200K respectively on Friday and the 2 days total stand at $2.15M. The UK Box-office saw 70% drop, collecting $197K on Day 2. Australia & New Zealand had a phenomenal 80% hold, earning $185K on Friday.
Coming to the Asian markets, the Gulf territory proved to be the most productive market, adding $845K on Friday. Both the stronghold markets of Thalapathy Vijay, Malaysia & Singapore added $423K and $218K respectively on Day 2, seeing around 60% hold. The rest of the world territories contributed around $130K.
