RDX 17 Days Kerala Box Office Report Card
RDX has emerged as a solid Blockbuster and decimated other Onam releases at the Boxoffice. RDX has collected more than INR 75 Crore Worldwide and there seems to be no stopping the frenzy around this movie. The movie might end up at INR 90 Crore or even above depending on its 3rd week. It is already the 6th highest grossing movie Worldwide from Mollywood and at this rate, it will easily end up in Top 5.
The movie is performing heavily at the overseas circuits though the movie had a late wide release outside India. RDX has already become the 10th highest grossing movie Overseas and it is nicely positioned to even muster USD 4 Million. In Kerala, the collections surpassed INR 45 Crore and by end of its 3rd week, the film will register INR 50 Crore. RDX will only be the 4th movie to achieve this rare feat at KBO after Pulimurugan, Lucifer and 2018.
RDX started from a mere 14 lakh presales figure to register a massive 1.30 Crore on its first day at Kerala Boxoffice. The movie wreaked havoc from Day 1 doing extraordinary business during the Onam season. The movie clocked INR 4 Crore gross 3 times and INR 3 Crore gross 8 times inside 10 days in Kerala alone taking the cumulative total past INR 33 Crore. The collections dropped below INR 1 Crore only on its 14th day since majority of the screens were lost to Jawan. Though the film received holiday advantage, the consistency of the film depended heavily on highly positive word of mouth.
