Jawan 2 Days Worldwide Boxoffice Collection Update

Jawan has literally set the boxoffice on fire on Day 1. The highest single day collection now belongs to Jawan and it has reported a jaw dropping INR 65 Crore on its first day. This is the second time SRK is rewriting Day 1 records in 2023. Jawan broke the Day 1 collection of Pathaan which was INR 55 Crore. The Day 2 numbers are looking even better by grossing INR 46 Crore. This is a massive figure since Day 2 is a working day and this means Jawan is expected to hold 65% of Day 1. At this rate, the film might mint INR 230 Crore from India alone in the 4 days extended weekend.

Jawan passed an important milestone in the domestic markets. Jawan collected INR 3.45 Crore from Kerala & INR 7.93 from TamilNadu taking the cumulative total to a massive INR 11.38 Crore in Day 1. This is the first time a hindi film has done such a humongous business in the southern states. The previous best had only around INR INR 3.5 Crore shows the monumental growth in the collection. SRK & Atlee have truly expanded the market to register a monstrous 180 % growth in terms of collections. Day 2 gross in these 2 states is expected to be around INR 7 Crore which means there is a decent hold of 60%.

Jawan has created history at the national multiplex chains outshining the Day 1 collections of Pathaan. Jawan recorded the highest Day 1 for any Indian film recording INR 29.96 Crore falling just short of INR 30 Crore. Pathaan grossed INR 27.08 Crore on Day 1 and the most noticeable part is that the 3rd best stands way behind at INR 15.45 Crore. Looking at the current trend, Jawan is certain to achieve INR 20 Crore in 2 consecutive days from the national multiplex chains. The movie has already registered INR 22.45 Crore on Day 2.

Jawan has also created history by registering INR 129 Crore worldwide on Day 1 which is the first straight Hindi language film to do so. The cumulative gross from India on Day 1 stands at INR 90 Crore and is the 4th highest first day grossing movie. Pathaan is at the 8th position clocking INR 69.5 Crore. Early estimates suggest that the Day 2 collections globally will be in the range of INR 110 – 115 Crore taking the total past INR 240 Crore globally in just 2 days. The domestic gross from 2 days is looking at a staggering INR 155 Crore and USD 10 Million from Overseas. The film has recorded a sensational jump on Day 2 globally where it made USD 5.6 Million compared to the first day figures of USD 4.4 Million. The film is expected to establish a benchmark by becoming the first Hindi film to record a massive USD 2 Million in the middle east.
