Jailer is slowly climbing new heights as it eases past INR 500 crore globally. The global total stands at INR 503.5 crore in just 11 days. The film is enjoying a phenomenal run at its home territory, Tamil Nadu where it has grossed around INR 148.61 crore. The film has now gone past Bahubali 2 in the home state to become the 3rd highest grossing film behind Vikram & PS1. It has a good chance to move past Vikram after the 3rd week. Jailer has grossed around INR 67.57 crore in Telugu states and is now the 2nd highest grossing Tamil film in this region behind ‘2.0’.

Meanwhile, the film has become the highest grossing Tamil film in Karnataka & Kerala. In Karnataka, the film has surpassed the collections of ‘2.0’ to enter the coveted 50 crore club. This is the first time a Tamil film has breached the INR 50 crore mark in Karnataka and the total stands at INR 52.32 crore. The film is soon set to enter INR 50 crore club in Kerala. It slid past Vikram by collecting around INR 46.45 crore. North Indian belt is the only territory where Jailer hasn’t made any notable inroads like many other hyped Tamil movies. So far, the movie has collected INR 10.2 crore.

The film is set to overtake 2.0 in the overseas market, which now stands at USD 21.9 million. It must be noted that 2.0 benefitted from China market where Jailer hasn’t released. The movie has already surpassed the total collections of PS1 in international markets. In North America, the film has already grossed around USD 6.16 million. Jailer is set to topple the collections of PS1 to become the highest grossing Tamil film in the area. In Gulf territory, Jailer overtook Vikram to become the highest grossing Tamil film by collecting USD 5.84 million. Also in Malaysia, Jailer is closing in on Kabali which is the highest grossing Tamil film. The total now stands at USD 3.29 million where Rajnikanth is set to break his own record. The movie is also eyeing the top position in many other territories depending on its run in the 3rd week.
