‘Good Bad Ugly’ is set to be career highest ‘Ajith’ film; clocks INR 150 Crore Worldwide Opening Weekend…!!!!
Good Bad Ugly is all set to emerge as the career best film for Ajith Kumar. The film has soared past ₹150 Cr in just 4 Days globally. The film recorded the first ₹50 Cr Opening for the actor and there was no looking back ever since for the film. The 4th day, Sunday saw the film collecting around ₹36 Cr, which is the second-best day for the Ajith starrer.
Domestic Circuits
In the home state of Tamil Nadu, the film has earned around ₹85 Cr, which is the already the highest grosser of the year in the state. The film is all set to breach ₹100 Cr in the state by Monday, marking the third movie for Ajith in his home state to earn above ₹100 Cr.

The film is doing good business in the Karnataka Box-Office, where it has earned close to ₹10 Cr in 4 days. In Kerala, the movie was released in limited screens and has performed better than recent Ajith movies in the market. Good Bad Ugly also saw growth on Saturday & Sunday, which is very unusual for an Ajith movie in the territory. This film has the potential to do over ₹5 Cr before the second weekend, despite very limited shows. But, AP/TS & North belts have severely underperformed for the film.

International Circuits
Malaysia is the best performing market for the film in the Overseas. Good Bad Ugly has propelled itself to the 8th best Opening weekend for a Tamil film in the region. Ajith starrer has earned around MYR 6.8M, which is the best Opening weekend for an Ajith movie and the highest of 2025. The film is on course to become Ajith’s highest in the territory going past MYR 8.35, made by Vedhalam in 2015.

In the North America Box-office, Good Bad Ugly is the second movie to gross over $1M after Thunivu. The film had a relatively slow start with respect to other overseas market, owing to delayed content release, but picked up smoothly to register the second-best Opening Day behind Vidaamuyarchi for an Ajith movie. The film also sailed over the weekend steadily to record the fastest $1M grosser for the actor in the area.

Despite being the best for an Ajith film, Good Bad Ugly stayed flat over the weekend in terms of collections, without showing any notable jump.
In the Australia Box-office, Good Bad Ugly has emerged as the third highest grosser for an Ajith film, collecting over A$268K in 4 days. The film will soon be the third Ajith film to breach A$300K and become the highest grosser for the Superstar in the region.
