‘Good Bad Ugly’ emerges as the record grosser for Ajith Kumar in several markets after registering INR 225 Crore globally…!!!!
Good Bad Ugly stays steady after a terrific first week but hasn’t recorded a major jump in the second weekend. The film is the highest grosser of Ajith Kumar globally, which was achieved in just 9 days and the film is expected to continue its phenomenal run in certain territories. In several markets, the film is reportedly the highest grosser of the star and is eyeing certain benchmarks for the actor. The film is particularly showing steady hold in the home state and traditional Tamil markets in the Overseas. But the film has severely underperformed in North America & Europe. Ajith Kumar still has a very long way to go before entering the Top 10 grossers in several Overseas markets.

Domestic Circuits
In the home state of Tamil Nadu, Good Bad Ugly has earned around ₹137 Cr and is at the 12th position in the list of highest grossing films in the state. The Ajith Kumar starrer hasn’t shown a significant jump in the second weekend, while comparing with the recent biggies like The GOAT & Amaran. Since there are no notable Tamil releases till May 1, the film could possibly enter the prestigious ₹150 Cr club, if it can hold well in the weekdays. This could mean that the Ajith starrer can become the 7th movie overall in the state, the first for the actor.
Similarly, in the state of Karnataka, Good Bad Ugly didn’t show enough growth after the first weekend. The film could add only another ₹4 Cr to the first weekend total, which means the film is all set to close just above ₹15 Cr in the state. In Kerala, the film received a significant boost in terms of number of screens and prime time shows in the second week. Despite that, the film couldn’t largely gain any traction but could bring only just above ₹4.50 Cr after the second weekend in the region. Good Bad Ugly is now the 6th highest grosser of Ajith Kumar in Kerala and might just get to the ₹5 Cr mark, since there is a major Mohanlal film coming this Thursday. High chances that the film might finish somewhere near the actor’s Thunivu & Aarambham.
The film has almost completed its run in AP/TS, as the film hasn’t brought any significant collections after the first weekend. The second weekend was below par in the region.
