Dhanush & Nayanthara: From Friends to Foe.? Shocking Revelations by Nayanthara..!!

Nayanthara has sent an open letter to Dhanush, in fact does a scathing attack on him, citing her displeasure over Dhanush serving a legal notice against the release of her Netflix Documentary. The issue comes after Dhanush refusing to give permission to use certain visuals & songs from ‘Nanum Rowdy Than’ for the Netflix Documentary, that features the life of Nayanthara. The film was produced by Dhanush while Nayanthara was the female lead in the film, and directed by her husband Vignesh Shivan. Nayanthara claims that her team has been battling it out to get an NOC certificate from Dhanush for using some videos & songs from their film ‘Nanum Rowdy Than’. She states that her documentary consists of moments from multiple films but it does not include one of the most special & important film, ‘Nanum Rowdy Than’, for which she has sought permission from the producer of the film. Following Dhanush’s refusal, the team had to re-edit the documentary.

In her letter, she states that her team has put in a lot of effort and Dhanush’s act has affected all of them. She alleges that Dhanush has been holding personal grudge against her which is why he has not given permission to use clips. She was shocked to read the legal notice that demanded ₹10 Crore as damages to using mere 3 Seconds of BTS visuals. She says that the BTS visuals are readily available to public on various YT channels. She questions the character integrity of Dhanush, who pretends to be a different person in front of his fans in audio launches. She bashes Dhanush by saying that he has stooped so low and that her team will respond lawfully to his legal notice.

Nayanthara also accuses Dhanush of speaking badly about their film at the time of release 10 years back. She says those words had deeply hurt her back then and mentions that his ego was hurt when the film became a blockbuster. She even referred to the Filmfare Awards 2016, where Dhanush’s discontent towards the film’s success was easily noticeable. She expresses her disappointment after Dhanush’s refusal to use contents from ‘Nanum Rowdy Than’, that his actions have broken her heart. She continues to say that Dhanush might be justified in the court of law but reminds him of the moral and ethical side of the issue. She goes hard at Dhanush, calling him a tyrant and an emperor controlling the lives of people at the sets and asked him to maintain courtesy and decency rather than tampering with other people’s private life.

While concluding the letter, she asks Dhanush to come to peace at other people’s success in movies and reminds him that the world is big and an outsider can also make it big in the industry. She also says that Dhanush might fabricate some false stories to defend his actions in future audio launches. Nayantara labels him as someone who enjoys at other’s sufferings by using the German word ‘Schadenfreude’ and asks him to reform. She hopes that her Netflix Documentary might pave the way for him to change. Meanwhile, several co-stars from the Industry has lended support for Nayanthara, including Parvathy Thiruvoth, Nazriya Nazim, Aiswarya Lekshmi, Anupama Paramaeswaran, Gouri G Kishan, Anju Kurian, Riya Shibu etc.. Certainly, Nayanthara has sparked a huge row and let us wait for the reply from Dhanush.
