‘Devara’ tops INR 235 Crore Globally in the 3-Day Opening Weekend…!!!!
After a ₹100 Cr plus opening day globally, Devara: Part 1 has slowed down in the next 2 days. The second say saw terrific hold in the Telugu states and North Indian market while the rest of the areas showed huge drop on Saturday. Sunday saw a small leap in the collections compared to Saturday but it wasn’t enough to power the much-anticipated Junior NTR starrer to go over the ₹250 Cr benchmark globally. The film added another ₹100 Cr to its Day 1 total, taking the cumulative 3-Day Opening weekend total towards ₹235 Cr globally.
Domestic Circuits
The film saw good hold in Andhra/Telangana states on Saturday & Sunday, particularly Rayalaseema area saw very good hold on both days. The film was able to easily surpass ₹100 Cr gross in the Telugu states in the opening weekend. Nizam & Guntur area have achieved breakeven in 3 days. The Telugu States Share for the opening weekend is ₹77.94 Cr. Opening weekend AP/TG Share breakup is as follows:

The final gross is in the range of ₹115 Cr in the Telugu states. In Karnataka, the film added another ₹9 Cr on Saturday & Sunday to take the total weekend collections to ₹20 Cr. Around 6 Lakh admits were recorded in the state. In North India, Devara saw steady collections over the weekend. 3 Days Hindi Nett is as follows:

Saturday (Day 2) ₹8.75 Cr
Sunday (Day 3) ₹10.50 Cr
Both Tamil Nadu & Kerala saw a huge drop, where the film never got off to a start in Kerala. Devara recorded above 3 Lakh admits in the state of Tamil Nadu, taking the weekend collections to roughly ₹6 Cr. In Kerala, the film received heavy competition from the Onam releases like Ajayante Randam Moshanam & Kishkindha Kaandam, which are in their 3rd week. The film could only find 1000 plus shows and sold just above 50K tickets in the 3-Day weekend.

Devara collected above $7M and registered the 6th biggest opening weekend for a Tollywood movie in the Overseas market. The Top 6 are as follows:
