‘ARM’ enjoys extraordinary run & makes an impressive INR 64 Crore Collection at KBO..!!

Ajayante Randam Moshanam is enjoying extraordinary run globally. The film has gone past the prestigious ₹100 Cr mark worldwide, becomes the eighth Malayalam film to do so. The film has made significant inroads in the home state, taking the total tally over ₹60 Cr. Tovino starrer has gone past the 2024 blockbuster Premalu on 5th Sunday to become the 7th highest grossing Mollywood movie and 9th overall in Kerala Box-office. The film still has got enough juice to surpass the collections of Mohanlal’s Lucifer, in which Tovino also appeared in an important role. The trend is inexplicable for the Jithin Lal directorial, as the film is experiencing unprecedented collections even in the 5th weekend, despite the release of Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan.

ARM debuted with an average pre-sale, with several morning shows getting cancelled due to the delay in delivering the KDM. Eventually, the film opened to favourable reviews and collected in the vicinity of ₹2.80 Cr on the Opening Day. The tracked gross was around ₹2.40 Cr and reported over 1.35 Lakh admits with an average occupancy of 41%. The film made quick progress in the upcoming days and the Onam holidays gave the crucial impetus for the film. The Opening weekend reported ₹9 Cr tracked gross and recorded over 5 Lakh admits. This means nearly ₹9 Cr gross collection in the 4-Day Opening weekend.

First Monday was the best day for the Tovino starrer

First Monday was the best day for the Tovino starrer, which managed to breach the ₹5 Cr mark at Kerala Box-Office. The film also saw around 75% occupancy across all shows combined at KBO. Note these collections are inclusive of 3D charges, as both 3D & 2D shows were tracked together. ARM became the first solo movie of the actor to register ₹3 Cr & ₹4 Cr ‘Tracked Gross’ single day at Kerala Box-Office. 8-Day extended first week came around ₹29 Cr at KBO. The film sold above 12 lakh tickets in this extended first week and played above 7,500 shows across Kerala.

The film saw a sensational hold in the second weekend, while receiving tough competition from Kishkindha Kaandam. A remarkable hold of 97% was witnessed in the second weekend. When the first weekend recorded 5 Lakh plus admits, the second weekend saw above 4.5 Lakh admits. In the second week, Asif Ali starrer started to reduce the gap. But ARM was steady and maintained a terrific hold of 40% after the Onam season. The ticket sales went above 20 Lakh and played over 15K shows in 2 weeks across the theatres in Kerala. There was no slowing down for the film in its 3rd weekend. Devara was released in this week. Despite the shows getting affected, the 3rd Sunday reported ₹2.50 Cr gross and an incredible occupancy of 60% at KBO.

ARM has gone past the prestigious ₹100 Cr mark worldwide in the 5th week

The 3rd week was extremely crucial for the film, but the Tovino starrer came out in flying colours by recording a hold of 66% from the 2nd week. The film managed to sell close to 5 Lakh tickets and grossed above ₹10 Cr in the 2nd week across Kerala. ARM was still steady in Kerala and attracting a large crowd to theatres, registering around 2 Lakh admits. The film witnessed another remarkable 72% hold in the 4th weekend from the 3rd weekend. Surprisingly, 4th week also managed to hold around 60% from 3rd week. Despite the release of a big film like Vettaiyan, ARM managed to secure collections close to 4th Monday on its 4th Thursday, despite playing in limited number of shows. It was surprising to see a phenomenal jump on 5th Friday, though it was the start of a holiday weekend. Yet, the 5th Friday collections were above the 3rd Friday collections, an unexplainable trend at the least. Similarly, the 5th Saturday saw a 20% jump from 4th Saturday. By the end of the 5th Weekend, the film has played above 27K shows and posted above 30 Lakh admits at Kerala Box-Office comfortably.

5th Saturday saw a 20% jump from 4th Saturday

ARM is enjoying a long run and is estimated to have grossed above ₹64 Cr, inclusive of 3D charges, after 32 days of decorated run at KBO. The only film that may come close to its achievement in the 4th & 5th Week is probably Premalu, which may edge ARM in the 4th & 5th Weekend.
